PROTO is a rider owned and operated company hailing from San Diego, California. Founded by Andrew Broussard, PROTO was the world's first freestyle scooter company; reinventing the entire design and construction of a standard scooter which created an industry foundation for all other scooter companies to flourish. PROTO prides itself on creating the highest quality parts with the most innovative designs and has made it their goal to standardize the entire construction of a freestyle scooter through the parts and the systems of compatibility that they have developed and continue to develop with the riders needs as their number one focus.
TILT started as a company in 2009 because nobody made the parts necessary to ride. Through years of designing, testing and perfecting, TILT has always been focused on creating high-quality components for riders. As a result, it has grown into a family - traveling as much as possible, sharing plenty of good times, & dedicating their efforts to the community that means everything to them.
TSI was founded by KC Corning and Matt Thom. Between KC's inventiveness and "Thom Cat's" drive to create, there was a perfect storm for TSI to come to life. The worlds very first one piece scooter deck was created in April of 2009. TSI was a turning point for freestyle scooter riding, Razor scooters were small and rickety, the FlowMaster was big and solid, it was apparent that freestyle scooter riding was a reality and that we wouldn't bolt another folding mech again. TSI continues to innovate today with their ultra-thin Paramount deck and fixed-fenders.
